Description

Introducing the Saft SBLE 550, a high-quality rechargeable Ni-Cd block battery from the renowned Saft brand. As a part of the SBLE ENERGY nickel battery range (L type), this product is designed to provide exceptional performance and reliability for industrial applications.


The Saft SBLE 550 comes with a capacity of 550Ah. Its key feature is its ability to deliver low rate discharge over long periods, ranging between 1 and 100 hours. This makes it an ideal choice for power back-up applications, ensuring you have reliable power when you need it the most.


The battery comes with crosswise connection and measures 410mm in height (including the IP2X terminal cover), 195mm in width, and 183mm in length per block for one cell. Despite its compact size, it packs a punch with an approximate weight of 23.4kg per cell.


The Saft SBLE 550 also boasts of an internal resistance of 6 mOhm, ensuring efficient performance. It comes with a cell connection bolt per pole of 0.3, and 2 x M10 cell connection bolt per pole, promising secure and reliable connections.


The battery features an electrolyte volume between level marks of 1430 cm³, with 0.08 kg of solid electrolyte per cell and 1.94 L of liquid electrolyte per cell. This ensures optimal functionality and longevity of the battery.
